About

I've worked in the entertainment industry for as long as I can remember

From doing magic tricks on stage to impress the girls in school to playing lead guitar in my late teens in Chile's thrash metal legends "WARPATH" (again ..to impress the girls. And the love of Thrash metal!). I've always been involved in creative projects and have had a passion for music and the visual arts ever since.

In the early 90's, I started a career as an Audio Engineer and studio tech in NYC's Legendary Greene Street Recording, Then moved on to building state-of-the-art audio consoles at API under the wing of designer Paul "fix" Wolff. And eventually ended up in Los Angeles, CA to join the all-star tech staff at renowned Sunset Sound Studios. Where I had the unique opportunity to work with the top musical artists of the day providing the best tech support and engineering assistance I could.

THEN...I GOT BORED.

While in LA, I developed an interest in photography, and in 2003, I made a major career change and started working as a photo assistant for several Glamour and fashion photographers I knew at the time..

Traded musicians for glamour models...and life was good!

I worked hard to sharpen my technical and creative chops, from lighting complex setups to making great coffee, then eventually graduated to lead photographer, formed a client base, and started shooting for magazines and editorials (remember those?), Eventually gaining enough notoriety to be approached in 2005 by GOLIATH Books in Berlin to do a book on Pinup photography which was titled "WINKYTIKI'S Modern Vixens". You can see some of my Photography HERE

So far...So good...SO WHAT?

In 2006, I started dabbling in Video and Directing for Vivid Entertainment and other studios in LA that were looking for my particular style. But, although I had an eye for photography, and the Creative/ technical know-how to capture great images,, I actually wasn't very good at shooting video, I really sucked!..and many editors would refuse to cut my footage. So, I had to learn to edit in order to fulfill deliveries and save face, and I ENDED UP LOVING THE PROCESS!

Found a new Passion

I Love the post-production workflow, the visual storytelling, and the passion to see a project to completion, To take a bunch of seemingly random footage and deliver a cohesive, polished product.

Video editing has the perfect balance between art and technology as it encompasses a mix of creativity and technical skills, both of which I have a deep passion for.

Always learning, and constantly improving my skills, I love collaborating with others!

When I'm not editing, I keep busy watching tutorials and updating new skills or being out in the mountains hiking or smelling the flowers.

The mountains and Nature are my escape and therapy!

Ok, Enough about my boring ass..

let's talk about your project!
